Consisting of 11 items, ca. 1871, 1901, 1952, and undated, consisting of leaflets of poems on various subjects, such as Chicora Park, Fort Sumter, Colonial Lake, Sullivan's Island, and other buildings and events of Charleston, S.C., including the Cotton Palace at the South Carolina Inter-State and West Indian Exposition (1901-1902). Also including newspaper article by A.S. Salley, Charleston's Self-Crowned Poet Laureate, 13 Jan. 1952, re Molen's poetry, including pictures of him in summer and winter attire; and anecdotes re his habit of writing poetry in honor of new buildings or products, or events, such as adoption of trolley cars on Charleston streets.
